Do you cater for specific dietary requirements?

Yes, we can cater for specific dietary requirements, as long as we have notice in advance. If you aren’t sure if some items on the menu are okay for you, just ask our friendly staff who will be happy to help and inform you of ingredients.

Yes you can, we are part of the Britstops scheme so just ring us and let us know when you’re arriving, how long you’re staying and we can book you in for a meal at the same time if you want to dine with us while you stay.

What is Bogstock?

You might hear people talk about ‘Bogstock’, this is now more commonly known as the Carts Bog Beer Festival. We usually host the beer festival over a Friday and Saturday night in late July/early August. Over the weekend you will find a wide range of local real ales, ciders and 70+ whiskeys, all of this along with live music, a hog roast and a great atmosphere!

What are the boxes in the field out the back?

If you’ve ever been to the pub, you will have noticed in the garden that there are little clay pits with covers on. What these are is probably the most asked question we get from customers, and the answer is quoits pitches – you’ll find teams arriving every Wednesday night throughout the quoits season to play and compete in the local leagues.
